WIS’18 Alumna Jennifer Van Os Helps Cool Cows

Jennifer Van Os, an assistant professor of dairy science, visits milk producers around the state to study cow comfort. In May, she will accompany the Wisconsin Idea Seminar to Rosy-Lane Holsteins in Watertown, Wisconsin, where she has collaborated with owners Daphne and Lloyd Holterman on a number  of research projects that look at cow comfort, including giving cooling showers to cows while they are being milked. Jennifer is slated to join the 2019 Wisconsin Idea Seminar tour of Rosy-Lane Holsteins in May, 2019. Read more about Jennifer’s work here.
